I really need help! I think I accidentally deleted a system file while trying to uninstall a text editing program and now Microsoft Office is not running properly. It opens and works perfectly fine until I try to save anything. It freezes and crashes then everything I wrote disappears. On the other hand, the remote desktop doesn't open. When I click on it, it just freezes until i'm forced to force quit the program. Everything else is perfectly fine, but as a student, I really need those programs! Can anyone please HELP?

Rollback the system to a backup made prior to the deletion of those files, or just restore those files?

Reinstall MS Office?

I have restored the files and nothing changed. As for reinstalling MS office, i don't have the disk anymore so I don't know if that is an option.
