I am fairly new to Macs (not totally) but this one has me stumped. Something happened in the last two days or so to my display such that every time I move the mouse (macbook pro - for both a usb mouse and built-in mouse), the whole background display shifts in the opposite direction by maybe 5-10 pixels. It's a small shift, but it's driving me insane visually. Anyone seen this before?

Could it be that you have Zoom enabled? Have a look in System Preferences, under Universal Access.

THANKS! That was it. Must've fat-fingered and turned it on by accident.

my eyes are already in recovery mode!
