In light of the fact that you can't / shouldn't connect 2 Macs to the same drive and share iTunes (now Music and TV apps) libraries and data centers due to corruption issues, trying to find a solution moving forward. HELP!

I've had a Mac Mini (late 2014) since 2016 and just replaced it with a Mac Studio. The Mac Mini isn't bad, just a bit older for running everything but I feel is still a good device as a media server, so my thought is to strip most of the software off it, clean up the drive, and leave it running headless as my Apple TVs media server. That way Music and TV apps can be always on and that content can be available throughout the house.

Would I be better off copying the entire Music library to my Studio and maintaining that separately, to have my music collection on the Studio as well, and potentially for any syncing to my devices. I feel like trying to network in the attached drive from my Mini might not work as well.

Any thoughts or suggestions on how to set this up?
