Help! My Bluetooth has just gone!

Hello all.
Just working on my macbook, normal day. with my wireless mighty mouse.
Then the bluetooth just stops. The icon in the top bar has a jagged line through it.
I have seen it before but usually it just comes back on.

It didnt, so i restarted, still nothing.
Then i reset the PRAM, when it booted, the whole icon had just gone, the preference pane, everything.
Its not vital that i have bluetooth, but if anyone else has seen this could you help ?

Is the battery good in your mouse? The only time I have seen a line through the icon is when the battery is dying.

Your macbook bluetooth board may be bad or the connector is loose. You may have to reload the OS and do an archive and install (if you want to preserve doc etc...).
