Help! My Display Suddenly Shows A Wrong 'Resolution'

hi guys.

this things annoys me. one day i started up my mac pro and my display seems to show the "wrong resolution".

according to system preferences, i should have 1920 x 1080. but to see the time, i have to move my mouse to the right side of the screen...

anybody seen something like this before? i tried to google it, but did not seem to find the correct problem description.

i have installed all the latest updates from apple (that appeared on software update).

any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Sounds like you've activated the screen zooming feature.

Hold the Ctrl key and roll your mouse wheel.
