Okay okay I admit it. I am the one who broke my dock. I tweaked it somehow and to reverse the changes I went and deleted some file the internet told me to delete. I forgot the file and now my dock is stuck the way I had it when I tweaked it. With nothing but finder it it. It is annoying me! Please help!

If you want to reset your dock to the default settings, go find the com.apple.Dock.plist file in your user folder -> Library -> Preferences and move/delete it. To make the change take effect you'll need to restart the Dock. You can do this by logging out then back in, or running this Terminal command:
Code:
killall -HUP Dock
What that does is sends the Dock process the hangup signal, which forces it to re-read its configuration file.
