Help!!! My iPhone 3gs shut off!!! D:

Help my iPhone just shut off on me... the screen went white when i hit the sleep button then it just powered off... Also my parents are gonna flip on me so can anyone help??

Did the battery die? Just plug it in for a few minutes.

If plugging it into your computer charges it, then do that. You'll also be able to check whether your computer still recognizes it for transferring files.

its not chraging and i have it in the computer right next to me nor does it recognize the fact its in the usb port

If it lost power completely the computer may not recognize it for a few minutes. It should show that its charging on the phone though.

The battery indicator may be a little off now if you've had it a long time. My 3gs has died twice now (and needed charging) when the battery indicator was nowhere near 0%.
