I have a power mac G4 mac mini running osx 10.5. All of a sudden starting yesterday whenever it falls asleep it will not wake up. I click the mouse, press every key n my keyboard and nothing. I have to physically turn it off then power it back up again.

I changed my energy saver settings to:

Put computer to sleep - never
monitor - 20 minutes

Put hard drive to sleep when possible is checked.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You say that you have a " power mac G4 mac mini " ?? Mmm dont think apple ever produced such a machine did they ?
So could you be a bit more precise as to what hardware you have plus OS you are running & maybe we can give you some helpful troubleshooting.

I fixed it.

Actually it stopped recognizing my firewire devices too and I read somewhere I could try unplugging it.

So I shut down, unplugged it, plugged it back in and now it recognizes the firewire and wakes up when I put it to sleep. Maybe it reset something by doing that.
