Help! I was just using my computer when I put it to sleep and could not reawaken it. I held down the power button for a hard shutdown, and when I restarted the Archive folders in Mail were no longer there. I save thousands of emails in my Archive because I do not use the Trash. It looks like everything is gone. Luckily, I do have Time Machine Backups, however I would like to avoid that if possible. Any idea what happened?

Oh my. I logged out and back in, and the problem resolved. Phew! How in the world did that happen?

I have installed 10.9.2 Developer Build Mavericks.
Is me already 2 times happens all the mails in the trash were gone. Mac only went down and restarted again and everything was empty. I have 14 mail accounts and all the trash folder for each mail account was then empty.

As yet a large error in mail program must be or how can this be explained?
