I checked my junk folder (said I had one junk item). I checked it as non junk. After looking at it, I erased it. When I went back to my inbox everything was gone.

It didn't go to the trash. I checked the trash...the deleted emails are still there. How can I recover my inbox emails?

Help!!!!

I'm not getting any mail either

Just checked an email on my gmail account via Firefox....didn't show up on my mail..

I have warning triangles on my gmail boxes

inboxes, outboxes, etc.

perplexing

Re-enterred my password on the gmail account:
mail - preferences - accounts - gmail....re-enter password.

Gmail on mail is working again, but the old inbox items are gone....not in trash either.

Where did they go?

The same thing happened to be over the summer.

I went to delete ONE email from my inbox.
For whatever reason, all the emails got deleted.
Like you, they didn't go to my trash, they were just gone.
The only email in my trash was the original email I wanted to delete.

Never did get my emails back btw.
