Okay, it turns out Macally sent me a crappy HDD enclosure, which kills anything its daisy-chained too. (oddly enough, it works fine when connected directly to the computer.) Once it is daisy chained via my other HDD and turned on, nothing works at all. The other HDD is completely non responsive, as it my MBP's FW port!!! Come monday I am calling macally to raise some hell, but until then I need to get my MBP working properly again. I know there are some magic steps involved... I have resetted the PMU, unplugged everything but the power and turned it off, let it sit for a while and turned it back on... nothing. Help?

[ps, this has happened to my eMac too, so its not my MBP's fault]

Go to Apple! (i think they could help you. What did you do to your eMac? I guess you bought a MBP:D )
