Ok ok ok ok....

I know this "what monitor/display to buy" topic has been beaten to death.

So, does anybody have hands on experience with both of these 24" ips monitors?

If so, please just tell me what to do.

I can get the NEC PA241W-BK for $1100 with the Spectraview II calibration kit.

or

I can get the Dell U2410 for $600 without a calibration kit, which will run me, what, another $200-$300?

So, the question is: $1100 for the NEC or roughly $900 for the Dell? That's including a calibration kit.

Obviously saving some dough would be great, but I'd rather spend a few extra bucks and not have a headache.

Any input or alternative ideas are welcomed, appreciated and encouraged.

I'll be running the monitor with a 2008 MBP 2.4 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo with 4GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM and the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics card...if any of that matters.

Thank you so much.

EDIT: I suppose the HP LP2475w should be thrown in for comparison as well. Also, what else might I want to connect to a monitor besides my MBP? Just curious because the Dell and HP have WAY more inputs/options for connectivity than the NEC does.
