I have an Oct 2005 (Rev E) 15" Powerbook G4 1.67 Ghz. This is the very very last model of Powerbook released just 4 months before the MBP. I need a new PRAM battery (it's not remembering the date/time) and I can't find one anywhere! Ifixit.com doesn't have it. OWC doesn't have it. NewerTech doesn't have it. All the ones on ebay are only for the Rev A - Rev C models. None for Rev E. :(

Anyone have a source for these??

Not yet. Will apple sell you these internal components? I don't need them to install it, I can do that myself. Just need the part.

They do list PRAM batteries for older models but not for the aluminum.
That's pretty much the problem I've had with all the apple parts vendors. They list pram batteries for older models but not the Rev E 1.67 like I have.

Looks like I'm stuck buying through Apple. Hopefully they don't want $200 for this silly thing.
