Hello,

i have a 5,1 Mac Pro and also a 2010 17 inch Macbook Pro and I want to install Windows 10 and for some reason Bootcamp won't allow me to install. I have Bootcamp drivers 5,1 - I was told that i don't need Bootcamp 6,1 which are for newer Macs. Could someone please direct me to a way for me to install Windows 10 on my laptop and or Mac Pro.

Many thanks

You have to just treat it like a regular PC, don't even use bootcamp. You can use the boot camp assistant to make a partition if you want, but you can't use it for anything else for windows 10 on those I don't think. You literally just have to do everything manually as if you were doing a clean windows install on a PC.
