I just bought a powerbook and I love it. Now, I have a windows XP machine to which is connected a Canon S820 printer.
I want to be able to print from my powerbook.
Now, I can see the printer from the powerbook, but I couldnt find a preinstalled driver for the S820, so I went to the Canon website and downloaded the OS X driver for the S820.
Here's my problem, after the driver has intalled and the machine has rebooted I cannot find the driver anywhere, it doesnt show up on my list of installed printer drivers and I cant select it manually cos I dont know where to look.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
EDIT: Having researched further, I have learned about CUPS printer drivers which is what is used to print from windows machines. Does anyone know if there is a CUPS driver for the Canon S820
