Help needed before i purchase a non working iMac

Hi,

Im looking to purchase a non working, "sold as" 27" iMac 2.8GHz Intel Core i5, SN: MC511X/A. Its stupidly cheap at the moment with 4 days to go. Basically the (very lite description) says "No boot up, No Display, Beeping noise".

Is this going to be a silly idea to purchase, or could i be in luck and it be fixable?. Im thinking possible new hard drive (for the boot up issue), beeping cold be RAM? but not sure about the display.

Any ideas?
