hey guys so i have a problem right now. i bought a moshi minidisplay to hdmi adapter for my early 2011 macbook pro 13 inch. everything works; the sound, the picture. however, one problem is that it keeps on refreshing every 3 seconds or so. it seems like it is constantly trying to detect the display. i tried to mess with the display settings and when i clicked detect display, it shows up as SAMSUNG. i tried to change the refresh rate but it only allows me to click on 60hz. i tried changing the tv resolution on the display settings, it's still constantly refreshing every 3 seconds sometimes even one right after another. can anyone tell me how to fix this problem? could it be a port problem?
