So, I was going about my business, and I opened the AIM application and BAM, my iPhone freezes, it is stuck at a screen with lines like it would load to go to the buddy list or whatnot. I can't hit any button, I can't shut it off, if I try to silent it or vice versa, it doesn't vibrate or anything. It also has seemed to gotten warmer. I have not jailbroken it. iTunes won't even recognize it now.

Thanks. Any help is appreciated

do a hard reboot... In other words. Hold down the sleep/awake button on the top of the iphone, while also holding down the home button. It will take 5-10 seconds till you will see it turn off, and begin to reboot. at this point release your hands from the two buttons, and you should be good to go.

Thank you very much, I just looked that up right before your response, but I very much appreciate the speediness of it. Phew, I almost pissed my pants about it. =D
