Hi guys, does anyone have any suggestions for a backlit numeric keypad for a 2018 MacBook Pro? My wife has one for her job and she works at nights on the couch, and some of it includes data/number entry. A keypad would really make things easier for her but it needs to be backlit since she doesn’t want to turn the lights on directly above her. Wired is preferred but we’re open to any suggestions. Thanks!

Check out the Ducky Pocket (URL goes to a version with Cherry MX Brown switches, but you can get it with different switch types if you prefer). RGB lighting, I found a comment made elsewhere that it works with Mac but it doesn't give you added functionality with the keys - that is, it's purely for numerical entry, at least with the Mac.

Ducky usually has a hardware switch for Mac compatibility with their devices, but their controller software is Windows-only as far as I know... so you might be stuck with the default RGB color scheme, unless you virtualize or boot into Windows to set it differently.

If you look at Amazon's listings, there are cheaper options from other companies, including some that are backlit (although it seems those ones are just a solid color).

Hope it helps!
