Hi, I have just joined up so am a real newbie! My husband and I have been using Macs since 2000 and they're just so easy, however I have just started a working from home job and need to have Windows. We installed XP Pro onto our Mac (think it's a 10.5 but I'm not at all technical as you'll find out soon !) and after a few hiccups got it loaded. XP has IE 6.

We use wireless internet with Airport Express and can't for the life of us get it working properly. It connects fine and the signal strength is strong, but whenever we go to look up a page it just says 'page could not be found' and comes up with DNS server problem.

How do I find the DNS number we're currently on? I've tried looking under System Preferences/Networks but it's blank and I don't know what to do. I did get a number from www.whatismyip.com I think it's called, and am not sure if that's the right one I need. I think not because I put it onto Windows XP and nothing happened .

Can anyone please tell me in words of one syllable that are very easy to understand what I need to do and where I get all the relevant information to input onto XP? This is really frustrating - it's now past midnight and I'm still no further forward!

Many thanks

Ali
