Help needed with Cinema Disp 23" Alum

I have an under warranty 23" Cinema Display HD. During a move the LCD got cracked , the unit still works but its very distorted.
I called apple asking to get it repaired and we would pay. Guess how much they wanted. Hold your hats ....... Over $3000 to repair and ship the monitor back.
Yep 3k for a 900 dollar monitor. WTF!!!!

Does anyone know a place that sells replacement LCD panels? I also need a service manual for that unit , I can only find the acrylic one.

If you know any dealers that can repair give me a shout.

I've seen several on eBay, they tend to sell in the $200-300 area.

You should confirm what the specs are and if this is intended for the aluminum or older acrylic ACDs.
