when ever i delete a message in my iPhone it also deletes it from my iMac at home. it never used to but with the latest update it seems Imap is the only option. I do get a lot of emails and i usually leave them on my home machine to refer to later. my iPhone only has 16 gig so i like to delete them off that . Can any one tell me how i can stop them all from being deleted at the same time ?

What email service are you using? (Gmail, Aol, HotMail, etc.)? IMAP really is the way go to nowadays... POP3 is really being phased out and is very unnecessary in todays world.

I use comcast and it forwards to my mac mail. I do like to save my emails so i can go back to them. but yeah with pictures it does fill the iPhone . and if you put them in a folder it makes searching a bear . it just seems with pop 3 we had choice. now its all or nothing
