Help needed with tweet button

so here's the deal, i have a page that contains a gallery that has a name for each slide, so you can link to index.html#cat for example.
i'm trying to add twitter buttons for each slide but since the slides are all on the one html page, when the first slide loads the javascript for the twitter button loads its button image, but when you click to see the next slide you just get the text.
is there a way to get this to work?

the same happens with the facebook share button btw...

UPDATE: been googling, could i do a onClick to the prev/next buttons of the slideshow and have that re-call the two scripts i need for twitter and facebook?

maybe i could place them both in an external file and call that?
