Help Needed [won't start up!]

I recently updated my Os on my iMac to the latest system and it was running slowly for two days now when I turn it on it just shows the Apple symbol and the loading bar and stops and restarts and keeps repeating this. It won't start up! This only happened since the the latest updates from Apple. I need help to resolve this, has anyone else got this issue since the latest updates?
