HELP - new base 2017 - 15" MBP - Google Chrome causes panics

As title says.

Brand new base model 15" 2017 at work.

So workplace puts on Sophos and stuff like that (Though I have admin rights to the machine I do NOT have ability to shutdown Sophos).

Anyway Google Chrome usually within 10 seconds of starting freezes and causes a kernel panic reboot.

Any ideas ????

I will answer my own question if it helps anyone.

In my case , as strange as it sounds, turned out to be the Belkin usbc--> ethernet adapter.

I 1st tested wifi, no issues so thought hmmmm...

Used an apple usb ether adapter cascaded on the AV adapter USB port and boom, no more issues....

who woulda thought..
