I finally have my iphone4 (purchased the day they went on sale) setup the way I want it. JB with 4.1 and over 200 programs. This past week I have noticed one row of around 8-12 dead pixels (in a row).

Should/can I return it for a new one? If so, do I need to totally restore to factory? Will they replace it? If I keep it, is it likely to get worse?

I plan on buying an iPhone 5 when they come out. Should I just sit tight? If they replace it, I should be able to JB the new one within a week, right? Will I be able to backup this one and then transfer everything to a new one? Thanks.

You may be able to see the dead pixels here. Some screens are more annoying than others.

Uh, unless you use a camera you can't see dead pixels with a screenshot. Not a software problem.

Definitely book an appointment and take the phone in.
