Hey,
maybe you could help me with this "problem": Actually I was planning to buy the new iMac but now that it turns out to be quite expensive, I'm wondering whether to take this offer (friend of mine sells his old iMac):
iMac mid 2011 27 inch, i7 3,4, 8gb, 6970 2gb, 1tb,...
or
new iMac, i5,Fusion, 675/680MX,...
The old one would probably be 600 bucks less than the new Mac (including Fusion-Upgrade + 680MX), but it has no warranty left :/
Playing games should be possible with the old one as well, shouldn't it? Especially Guild Wars 2 and realtime-strategy.
I do videoediting as a hobby, have CS6 and thus would be happy about CUDA-support, but 600 bucks is quite a lot of money.
What would you do
?
