HELP?! No sound when previewing on iTunes using my iPhone?!

Hi all,

I have just registered as I have just got myself an iPhone.

I have been playing around with it and when I go onto iTunes using my iPhone, when I want to preview a song, no sound comes out but the little circle is going around and you have the option to stop it playing but I cannot hear anything.
I have the vibrate button on the side switched off too.

Please help, I would really appriciate it as this is really irritating.
