So I used pangu JB and when it said "Done!" it restarted the phone. Now its stuck in a loop where it shows the apple logo and then a white screen that says Welcome to Pangu Jailbreak and then goes back to the apple logo and repeats over and over and over again.

What can I do? I'm not too good with iphones so I'm not 100% what needs to be done now.

Did you update your firmware over the air (OTA)? That can sometimes cause the behavior you are seeing.

Either way, I think the only thing to do at this point is to to a full restore in iTunes and re-jailbreak.

Okay was able to restore and I'm back to where I was pre jailbreak

Nope not OTA just did the iTunes update from 7.0.4 to whatever the newest is.

I just don't want the jailbreak to fail again because its a big pain to restore and restore my backup. Any tips?

Okay just tried again and yep same result of the bootloop. Any ideas?

Restore.
Jailbreak.
Restore from backup.

In that order.
How do I do that in that order?

Once I restore I have to pick new iphone or back up. If I say new iphone wont I lose my backup?

Nope, backup will be there.

I did this:

- Restored
- Left iTunes on the page you're talking about
- Used my actual phone to setup the bare minimum to get to the home screen (just pressed skip, skip, etc.)
- Ran Pangu
- When phone rebooted, then I used iTunes to restore from backup

Your backups are stored in~ /Library/Application Support/mobilesync if you're really worried about losing it, just make a backup of your backups ;)

I can't hit skip skip. I get to a screen on my phone too that says restore from itunes. restore from icloud. set up as new phone.

Help not sure what happened when JBing

Yup, setup as new phone from your iPhone and just skip everything.

Your backup won't be lost, but for your own peace of mind you should make a copy before doing the above.

This page will help you find your backups: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4946

If you back them up, no matter what happens, you will be able to restore to where you are now.

Edit: I always make a copy of my pre-jailbreak backup anyway...

Tried this way too, still get bootloop

FOUND A SOLUTION!

Plugging in headphones while it bootloops finishes the JB process.
