Help on DVD

Hi,

I recently just got an ipod and i would like to rip some movies from my DVD collection. However, there are some difficulties as all are copy protected, i really have a hard time.

SO help please.

MacTheRipper will rip those DVDs onto your hard drive, then use Handbrake to convert them into the correct iPod format.

What happens if i dont have mactheripper

DVDShrink will do the same on windows. I rip using that on a Windows machine and encode using Handbrake on Mac.

I manage to get a dvd decrypter but for the handbrake, it apparently is not working at all.

Been trying several times but to no avail.

If you're on a Mac and you're willing to spend some money, might as well purchase VisualHub.

I have both VisualHub and Handshake and both seem to work well. Handbrake seems to offer a few more options though such as AAC and AC3 audio encoding, chapters, subtitles, etc.

If you're trying to use Handbrake on a PC, you may need to install the latest .net framework from Microsoft.
