Hello,

I have created a Windows 8 VM with Vmware Fusion and installed Excel and Word.

I have discovered the unity mode and then I have opened Excel, chosen the Unity mode and then chosen to leave on the dock.

Now I need to do the same with Word but I wonder how.

Shall I create a new VM (hopefully not) or what shall I do?

Please help. Thanks,

Daniele

I believe you can select what apps you want in unity mode, in the tools menu (I'm not sure and I don't have Vmware installed on the computer that Im typing on).

All you need to do is select it in the app, you don't need to create a new vm, you'll use your existing one.

Thanks for replying.

Actually I have looked for the Tools menu but I have not found anything where to choose the application(s) for the unity mode.

I have tried then to open both Word and Excel and then to click unity mode and it picks just one application.

If you find a machine with Fusion installed, would you then please advise where to go?

Thanks a lot,
daniele
