First of all: A quick public service announcement: Do NOT upgrade to the new OS X Mavericks.
Ok, so here's my problem...
The new OS X Mavericks changed the way you sort files in Finder. In OS X releases, when you Sorted by "Most Recent," it not only sorted by the most recent Date, but also by the most recent time on that date. So quite literally, the most recent file you added/modified/etc in any given folder was at the very top of the list.
However, in OS X Mavericks now, when you sort by "Most Recent," it sorts solely by the most recent date, but disregards the time entirely.
So if you download multiple files throughout the day, and you later go back and open the Downloads folder and sort by "Most Recent," it's impossible to determine which file you just downloaded most recently. This has grown to be incredibly frustrating.
PLEASE tell me there's a fix for this that I haven't yet discovered. Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Disgruntled OS X 10 Mavericks User (aka Roberto25)
