Well, I was reinstalling OS X, and my dvd would get to the end, and the pop out, saying that something was wrong. I looked at the disc after the third try, and lo and behold, it looks like someone breathed on it, but it wont go away. I tried washing it with solutions, soap, joy, windex, and out of desperation, lysol, it has not gotten any worse but it is no better, see the photo for a visual.

1. Where's the picture?
2. What kind of installation?
3. Did you check the installer logs?

1 They didn't attach, hold on.
2. Clean
3. Yes, GarageBand_instruments_tiger, and an instrument library file may not have been written correctly...what should i do??

Try installing OS X only first. It might only be Garageband that's failing. I don't know about anyway to fix the disc.

well it says it calls for disc 2, and that is what Garageband is on.... and it wont start without loading disc 2.
