Help! Phone rings: Interference knocks out airport

I might as well go back to dial up. No one can be on the wireless cable internet when the phone rings or it'll knock them off.
What gives?
I have a d-link modem

2.4 GHz phones and Wireless-G run on the same network. I get this problem too. You could try using a 900MHz or 5GHz phone to use a different frequency, or upgrade to a draft-n router. Other 2.4 GHz frequencies can cause this interference too (microwaves etc.). I'm actually not sure what you can do about it.

Try changing channels on yourt Wireless from the default.

Or buy a different phone.

I had the same problem with my cordless knocking out my wireless until I changed the routers channel. You may also want to try turning on Interference Robustness.

I too had to change router channels when we got a new 2.4Ghz phone system because it kept interfering with the signal.

I cannot log into the d-link homepage. It won't accept my user name password.
I understand lots of users have difficulty w/ this. Any suggestions anyone?
