Help! Photos on 4S backed-up

I need help!
I backed up my wifes 4s via iTunes, upgraded her to IOS 8.0.2 and thought I had copied all the pics onto my laptop - turns out I missed a few. I searched and found where the pics are backed up on the laptop and tried to restore the phone via itunes but that didn't bring back the pics.

How do I get these pics back onto the phone...?
