Hi,
I just bought an aluminum macbook and am researching monitors to find the best one to get. Is there any specific type I should be looking for? A lot of them say like DVI and VGA compatible; are both these supported by mac and which is better?
Also, the macbook has 1280x800 resolution, 16:10. Should I only buy a 16:10 monitor or is 16:9? If I get a 16:9 will the display be stretched, letterboxed, etc?
Thanks
Edit: Also, will I only be able to run the monitor at 1280x800 since that is the resolution of the laptop? If it will be able to run at resolution of the monitor, is there a limit to that, say like how much the gpu can handle?
