all screens come up black w/white text. I can not enlarge text. I know this has to do with appearance choices in a prefs. window.

I'm thinking there is a way to revert to a former state but don't want to over revert to the point of starting all over. I am on the last version on macos that I can use on this machine [10.10.5] with out having to do papers comrade every time I do something besides type. Please help if you can.

You might want to check the

System Preference > Accessibility > Display

Try to chance the settings for

Invert colors
Use grayscale


Perhaps these settings will change the b/w issue.
