Crazy L.A.
On two different iMac's, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit ran perfectly fine using BootCamp. Zero problems and I used it to benchmark stuff quite a bit.

Having said that, I just changed into a 2011 17" MacBook Pro and every time I try to install Windows 7 (using the SAME Win 7 disk, mind you), it will abort the installation at the VERY END and a window will come up in Windows 7 (after 2nd restart) saying "Windows cannot be installed on this hardware".

I've tried this on BOTH Snow Leopard (10.6.7) AND Lion (10.7 Dev. Preview 4 Update 1) using two different versions of BootCamp. No dice. I have a screen shot that I can upload, if necessary.

Are there any 2011 MBP owners who have successfully installed Windows 7 in BootCamp?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Please do, are 10.6 and 10.7 both on the same internal HDD? Separate partitions?
