Help please, deleting Liger 1.0

I should explain I have only owned/used a Mac since April 07 and its taking quite a lot of getting used to! Clearing my head of Windows is very difficult! However, today I downloaded a free application for Mac called Liger 1.0. (It's supposed to have the appearance of Leopard OS.) I couldn't get it to work, and have tried to send it to the trash. But each time I do this it tells me the application is open and can't be done.

I have removed it from Login in Accounts but am at a loss to know what else to do or where to find it. Can anyone please help me.

Thank you so much! I had AppZapper installed, but I'm afraid I didn't think of using it! I have just deleted it, no problem. Thanks again.

There is a free alternative to AppZapper called uApp.

There's also AppDelete, although it isn't quite as polished as AZ...
