Help please- digital signature is invalid

I installed Lion on my imac with no issues. I am now trying to d/l it on my MBP but when I try to do the latest updates before installing it, it keeps saying that it can't update because the digital signature is invalid or been tampered with.

Also, the mac app store won't even open.

I don't have my start up disc, either.

Can anyone help please?

You get that error in SL when you try to run software update?

Yep.

I hadn't got round to d/l the latest updates that were released the few days before the release of Lion.

I also keep having to put in my wireless password as it will no longer remember it.

Did you look around Apple's support site?
