Help Please Locked Iphone!

Hey guys. Tonight i tried to unlock a new 8gb iphone using pwnage tool. The only problem is that i didn't find a good tutorial for it so i accidentally switched the SIM-cards on the phone. This result of my actions wore that itunes won't recognise the phone and shows this message: The Iphone "Iphone" cannot be used with iTunes because the SIM card is PIN locked ot not installed. You must enter your SIM PIN or insert your SIM card into your iPhone in order to activate it." Can anybody please help me? I've googled the internet for hours in vain and can't findout how to fix it on my own. I've spent alot of money on it and would like it to work.

well - I didn't quite have the same symptoms as you, but my first attempt to unlock my 8gb iphone resulted in it looking decidedly broken.

I did a search and ended up putting the phone into DFU mode (do a search for full details) - basically hold the power and home key for 10 seconds - then release the power key but keep the home key deplressed for a further 10 seconds (seriously - time it!) then start-up itunes again and you get a message saying - "itunes has found an iPhone in DFU mode - would you like itunes to restore the iphone.." or something - the upshot was that this allowed me to restore the iphone to 1.1.14 (where previous it was 1.1.12 and unactivated so couldn't be upgraded to 1.1.14 as it wanted me to activate it first!)

i then used iliberty to activate, unlock and jailbreak the phone - no probs.
