Help Please Someone - Is 4gb Model Still Sold In Us Apple Retail Stores???

Just need to know if Apple still sell the 4GB iPhones in retail stores as someone is picking one up for me and don't want him to get the wrong one!!

I was at the Apple store on Saturday 9/15 and they were still selling the 4gig model.

I'd just call the Apple store in advance, if they do, they usually will hold whatever you want till 5pm your time. That's my experience anyways.

I was at a store outside Chicago 2 days ago buying an 8 gig for myself and the gentlemen who was standing next to me was purchasing a 4 and they mentioned they still had at least a dozen or so left.

d'oh - i dont want one of them! lol... my friend is going to the lansdale store to get one and i didnt mention the 8gig stupidly assuming the 4gig was no more... ALAS!

Just a thought - they still have them in the online store (the refurbs, at least)

I just bought a second iPhone this week and the Apple store sales person asked it I wanted 4 or 8 gig (so they had both in the back room).
