I have a late 2011 MB Pro 17". It has a solid state drive. I am getting a loud, disconcerting spinning sound around the top left of the keyboard, almost under the speaker. I DO NOT see my fan speed increasing. Both fans indicate about 2000 RPM. The machine is not warm at all.
Is there anything else that spins in there besides the fan? Did it come with some kind of backup traditional hard drive? (This was an SSD machine from new.)

[doublepost=1547150361][/doublepost]Defitely something with the fans. Just set my fans to top speed using SMC Fan Control. Right fan went over 6000 RPM, left fan only to 2300 RPM.
