So I currently own a Pantech Pursuit, on the At&t Network. I am currently paying for unlimited everything (web, texting, calling).

I recently purchased an unlocked 3GS iPhone. I put my SIM in, and it allows me to text and call, but won't allow me to use the internet. So two questions:

1) Am I being charged extra for texting and calling as of this moment?
2) Why can't I use the internet?

To clarify:

*I am currently paying an monthly unlimited plan for my Pantech through At&t
*My iPhone is a 32GB 3GS, unlocked, not jailbroken.

So it's a factory unlocked 3GS I take it?

Regardless... call AT&T and get your account setup for an iPhone.
You old plan is not compatible with the iPhone.

its unlocked, so was this an ATT iPhone? If no, you can edit your APN by going here (http://www.unlockit.co.nz) via the iphones browser on wifi and edit the ATT settings. It will let you use your current data plan.

If this is a ATT iPhone, they will catch on eventually and change your plan to an iPhone data plan
