Not sure where to post this question just hoppen here someone could help me. I deleted PS cs3 and wanted to reinstall it but when I go to install it it tells me to use a different installer. It also says that photoshop is intalled which it isnt. I have all the other applications like illustrator and stuff. How do I completely get rid of photoshop? I also dont have the original installer because im traveling.

How did you uninstall Photoshop? Dragging it to the trash? Use the Uninstaller in Utilities/Adobe Installers.

If that doesn't work, download this, read the instructions very carefully and follow them.

I did this evil- dropped it into trash, etc.
Now i'm trying to run the cs3 cleaner using terminal (will admit, little bit unused to the whole mac thing) and i am having some significant issue.

I cant enter my password to allow it to run- maybe its just a lack of experience with the terminal program- but could anybody suggest anything to help? or a guide to terminal?

In the terminal, when you type your password, it does not show as being typed, you just have to type it and then hit return/enter.

I'm attempting to uninstall a Photoshop CS2 trial:

I don't seem to have "Adobe Installers" in my "Utilities" I'm using Snow Leopard. Any help appreciated

Uninstalling CS3

Can someone help me? I have uninstalled through Utilities/Adobe Installers, but the actual applications are still in my application folder. Can I now drag those into the trash? Or how do I get rid of those?

PhotoShop CS3 Extended

Does PS CS3 Extended consist of all of these: Acrobat 8 Prof., Bridge CS3, Device Central, Dreamweaver, Extension Mgr., Flash CS3, Flash CS3 Video Encoder, Adobe Help Viewer, Illustrator CS3, InDesign CS3, Photoshop CS3 and Stock Photos CS3.

I want to uninstall Photoshop. Are all these part of the program?

No, Photoshop CS3 Extended consists of Photoshop CS3. All those other programs are part of whatever bundle you bought.

If you run the uninstaller on the install disc you can select to only uninstall Photoshop if you want to keep the rest.
