I have a weird problem with the kernel task right now. My Macbook Pro 13'' core i7 2.8GHz works perfectly fine whenever is connected to the electric current. The problem is that when I disconnect it, the kernel rises to 300% or more. Do any of you guys know what can be the problem in here!!??

First, try restarting your computer. If you have the same problem afterward, launch Activity Monitor and change "My Processes" at the top to "All Processes", then click on the CPU column heading once or twice, so the arrow points downward (highest values on top). Also, click on the System Memory tab at the bottom. Then take a screen shot, scroll down to see the rest of the list, take another screen shot and post them.

The right picture is with the magsafe connected. The left one is 3 seconds after i disconnected it. Booted up in safe mode and everything ran correctly even without being connected to current.
