Let me try to explain this. When i bought my dual 2 Ghz G5 from a workmate. Anyhow, on one partition was my older OS for programs like Apple Jack and some other stuff he put on for me on a seperate drive. So somewhere my preference and preference pane got all screwed up. I cannot even access simple preferences like "sharing" or "screen saver" or any of the basic preferences. Here is where my major problem is. System preferences is corrupt and is now crashing. BIGGER PROBLEM... My computer came loaded with Leopard and I have since been updated to 10.5.4. So... How can I fix this without having to buy the disk and totally reinstall? That is really my last option as Leopard otherwise is running perfect. I rarely need to do anything in preferences but there is a few things I just can't get around without my preferences working correctly.

If anyone has suggestions please email me or contact my on AIM (ichat)

I appreciate your help in advanced.
