ok, recently, I have noticed a dramatic slow in my computer's ability to open files and applications, my hard drive isn't even halfway full...I have a PB 12" 1ghz 512 ram...what can I do, I would like it to be as fast as it used to be when I took it out of it's box...

Thank you

1. Go to energy saver and set your power setting to "highest."
2. Download xBench and compare your system to those of others.

Hope those suuggestions will help your situation.

Sounds like it has PC syndrome. Every PC I have owned has became slower over time. Every friends computer I have used has become slower over time- they two agree. No viruses or spy/ad ware. It just seems to happen.

Have you noticed the slowdown since you've installed any programs, perhaps?
