When I was charging my watch, I tried to start it, the screen was filled with red, and when I hold the power button for a while it turned to colored striped. Please help. I'll be flying to China tomorrow, so I don't have time to go to an Apple Store.

The actual color is red, though it does look like orange on the picture.

Oh no. Have you tried rebooting it by holding the button and digital crown down until the apple logo appears? I've not seen anything like this yet on this forum or any other places I've stopped to read about the watch. Have a safe trip and I wish you luck with the watch.

Just came back from Apple Store on fifth avenue(the only one still open at this time), they had no idea about this and suspect it's the hardware. Luckily, I can get it fixed in China.

I hope you guys good luck with your "precious". I like the watch:apple:

Ya that's totally a video driver/hardware issue. Time for a replacement. :( Thanks for sharing though, just one more possibly issue to look for.

So sorry for your Apple Watch troubles. I'm glad you can get it fixed though. Thanks for letting us know it was bad hardware.
