I am running Mojave on my macbook pro and previously had bootcamp installed. I removed it, but there was some information left behind. Prior to posting here, I found a website that had me go into terminal terminal and find a parition called EFI, I went through some steps to try to remove it, but on the final step, it asked me to go to cd /Volumes/EFI/EFI however terminal said it could not be found. When I rebooted my computer, I no longer got the microsoft error page, but it was a black screen. I now have to restart holding the option key and it shows two drive, EFI Boot and my normal one. I can't figure out how to remove this EFI Boot. Any help would be appreciated. When I type diskutil list, I currently see Type EFI Name EFI identified disk0s1

The EFI partition is a normal part of a macOS system install.
If you want to avoid using the Option key to choose your normal boot drive, then go to your System Preferences, open Startup Disk. You will have to unlock that pane by clicking on the padlock. Click on your normal boot drive to select it.
That should be all you need.
